Structural Program Types of Treatment
1. Pre-construction Termite Control– applying termiticide solution to the soil around a structure, on its foundation, footing and flooring during construction, to prevent termite from infesting and penetrating.
Soil Poisoning – applying termiticide to the soil by spraying, trenching or rodding to serve as barrier from termites.
Underground Piping System – installing perforated pipes around the structure to saturate the soil when termiticide is injected to provide barrier against termite.
2. Post-construction Termite Control – treatment by various methods aiming at killing, repelling and/or preventing termites from entering, devouring, and destroying existing structures.
Chemical Barrier – injecting termiticide in the soil around the structure to form treated zone to prevent termites from getting in and destroying the structures.
Spot Treatment – spraying termiticide on areas infested or suspected with termites.
Baiting System – eliminating termite colony by baiting without having to use termiticide.
4. Mound Demolition – excavation of mound.
5. Woodborer “Bukbok” Control – for the prevention and elimination of woodborers by pinching holes on woods and spraying pesticides in it.
